An information junkie by habit, a business journalist by profession.
M.A. in Business & Economic Reporting at NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute & Stern School of Business. 2015 Marjorie Deane Reporting Fellow and winner of 2016 Thomas Mullaney Scholarship awarded by New York Financial Writers’ Association.
I aim to work with an organization that throws up new learning challenges and gives me a canvas to tell good stories.
After interning with Forbes over the summer, I am currently working with Investopedia. I analyze financial data, write about how it impacts the common person and revamp existing content to make it current and user friendly.
I have over five years of experience with business television and print media specializing in reporting on India’s economic policy from the political capital, New Delhi, and stock market regulation from the nation’s financial nerve center, Mumbai.
When not chasing stories, I am an avid reader. Trained in two instruments and an amateur vocalist, music has been one of my long time pursuits. An enthusiastic traveler, I love to explore new destinations and experiment with exotic cuisines. I follow cricket, tennis and Formula One racing.
